This site uses YouTube to display videos. YouTube is a video movie portal operated by YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., 94066 San Bruno, CA, USA. This is a subsidiary of Google LLC., 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA. Google's Privacy Policy can be found at https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/. YouTube is used in conjunction with the Enhanced Privacy Mode feature to view videos. By integrating YouTube videos, it is possible to promote the company in an appealing, audiovisual presentation. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

In as far as a contractual relationship is to be established between you and us, drafted with regards to content or changed, we collect and use personal data from you, as far as is necessary for this purpose. We are allowed to provide information about this data (user-related data) on order of the authorities responsible in individual cases, insofar as it is necessary for the purpose of criminal prosecution, to prevent danger, to meet the legal work of the constitutional protection authorities or the military counterintelligence service or to execute intellectual property rights.

3. Usage data

We collect and use personal data from you as far as it is necessary to make possible and render the usage of our internet offering (usage data). In particular features for your identification and information about the start and finish as well as the scope of usage of our offering are part of this. We are allowed, by using a pseudonym to create a usage profile for advertising purposes, market research and designing our internet offering to suit purpose. You have the right to dissent to this use of your data. We are not allowed to combine the usage profile with profile with data about the pseudonym owner. Our company runs social media websites such as XING, Facebook, Twitter, Kununu and Youtube. The links listed on our website are explicitly not active Plug-Ins. They only establish a link between the pages if you as a user click on the corresponding link button.

6. Processing for legitimate interest

We send product or industry-typical information via post and e-mail. The contact details are collected in the context of your inquiry or order. The admissibility for dispatch is based on Art. 6 (1) a) GDPR. That means the product or industry information is directly related to your interest/purchase. This information can be understood as advertising as far as possible. Therefore, this is an unrestricted right of objection.

7. Affected rights - right to information and right to data portability

In principle, every person has the right, upon request, to obtain information about the personal data stored about itself free of charge. In addition, the person has the right to correct inaccurate data and to restrict and delete it, unless otherwise provided by law. The person also has the right to receive the personal data concerning him / her in a structured, common and, if so, digitally stored, machine-readable format.

8. Right of withdrawal

Interested parties can revoke their allowance or disagree to the central Office at any time without giving a reason for all of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) and f) GDPR based processings. The revocation / contradiction applies immediately for the future.

9. Information on rights of persons concerned and right of withdrawal

Data processing which is subject to legal archival deadlines for the purpose of order processing or other processing used for the purpose of fulfilling legal claims (Article 6 (1) (b) and (c) GDPR) can not be or may only be partially deleted, blocked or objected to.

10. Electronic communication

If e-mails are sent to the company or one of its employees under this domain, the specified sender's e-mail address will be used only for correspondence with the sender. This also applies to the data transmitted to us through our contact form. It is expressly pointed out that the data transmission of e-mails via Internet can be unsecured and the data can thus be taken note of by unauthorized persons or even falsified. For this reason, no e-mails with protected content should be directed to any address in the domain www.gebr-peters.de.

11. Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption

This site uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of sensitive content, such as requests which you send to us as site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by changing the address line of your browser from "http: //" to "https: //" and the lock symbol in your browser line. Why have we notified you about data privacy?

We comply with the information and transparency obligations in accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Article 12ff.

Furthermore, according to Para. 13 Sec. 1 Telemediengesetz (TMG) (German Broadcast Media Act) the provider of a teleservice has to inform the user at the start of the usage process about the type, scope and purpose of all personal data collected in a generally understandable way. The content of this information has to be available for the user at any time. A service provider in the sense of the above named regulation is practically every internet page operator. Every service provider which collects or uses personal data is obliged to provide this. That which is individually to be understood under the concept of “personal data“is not uncontroversial. In any case data such as e.g. name, email address, address, and telephone number etc. Those who collect such data on their website – for instance in the framework of a registration process or when completing a contact form – has the duty to inform the user according to Para. 13 Sec. 1 TMG (TMG) (German Broadcast Media Act). The view is also represented that even the IP address of an internet user comes under the concept of personal data. Every website operator which collects the IP addresses of their visitors via Log files is under this interpretation obliged to notify according to Para. 13 Sec. 1 Telemediengesetz (TMG) (German Broadcast Media Act).
