Quality has always been one of our principles. When you for example build a large electrical facility, there are still odds and ends to be taken care of. Remaining work, the final polish. And that is exactly what makes it. We simply give our customers a facility which works. We only work with high-quality material and can rely on our employees because they have the best training. This is the only way to have long-term success.


1903 to 1945
So much to do

The brothers Karl and Hans Peters had already asked themselves around 1900 how they could improve the lives of people in the region. And have an idea which would lay the foundation for our success: to always be one step ahead of the times.

1903

The first business opens.

Comprehensive electrification of the whole region starts with the founding of the light and power facility construction business in Höllbräugasse 5, which is to be followed by gas and water installation and heating facilities. A business develops which smooths the path for the economic growth and upturn in the region from the two brothers’ love of technical progress.

1906

The brothers Karl and Hans open the gas and water installation department.

1919

1919 New workshops, offices and storage areas: Gebrüder Peters move into Donaustraße 3.

1920 / 23

Gebrüder Peters supplies electricity to 80 small towns.

1946 to 1984
Optimistic
atmosphere

A shop for electrical appliances and lighting is created from the ruins in Donaustraße in the 1950s as well as the Peters Exquisite Boutique in the mid-70s. Fritz Peters modernizes the company and expands it into an all-round provider for the specialist fields of heating, sanitation, ventilation and air-conditioning as well as electrics.

Reconstruction starts.

Gebrüder peters gmbh is founded.

1985 to 2015
Responsibility on a grand scale

Adaptability is one thing. Social engagement for your own employees and an eye for the small things is another. Fritz and Veronika network the company even more intensively regionally as well as internationally, drive technical innovations, buy a metalworking shop and extend the building management area.

MY PARENTS MANAGE TO ALWAYS FIND A GOOD BALANCE BETWEEN THE LOVE OF DETAIL AND THE WHOLE. I’VE GOT A LOT FROM BOTH OF THEM.

Craftsmanship under one roof.

We, as a full service provider bring all our competences under one roof by moving the company headquarters into Roderstraße and employ around 500 employees in 2016 in the five international locations of Ingolstadt, Munich, Neckarsulm, Brussels and Legnica in Poland.

A responsible company doesn’t stop at its own premises. It encompasses the wellbeing of people, cultures and the environment which we can at least contribute to a little. Gebrüder Peters has supported regional and national social and ecological organisations for many years. Oro Verde for example, a non-profit foundation which protects the worldwide survival of rainforests and thus the means of existence for the resident peoples.

Good craftsmanship lasts

Even though it is constantly changing. The challenge of the future lies in uniting classic craftsmanship with a new understanding of appreciation. We find that it cannot only be the price which determines what we do and don’t do. We need other criteria to evaluate things, for example something as simple and often heard as quality, reliability, respectful treatment of each other and the distinctiveness which makes craftsmanship and its products something special.
